Q1 2026 Product Roundup

What shipped in Q1 2026: Copilot GA, eForms 2.0, Knowledge Graph, mobile app public release, and the smaller things that added up.

Q1 2026 Product Roundup

A summary of everything that shipped between January and March 2026. The detailed release notes are in the changelog; this is the narrative version.

The headline releases

v2.0 — January

Multi-tenant hardening and passkeys. The major version bump in name; an operational quality bump in practice. The tenant catalog reworked, encryption-at-rest improved, audit log enriched. External pen test passed with no critical findings.

v2.1 — February

Mobile app public release. Android APK distribution from each tenant's settings; iOS TestFlight. Document scanning, offline mode, push notifications. The field-worker use cases finally got the experience they deserved.

v2.2 — March

eForms 2.0. New designer with conditional logic, GPS capture, in-form signatures. 38 customers consolidated their previously-disparate paper-and-PDF intake forms into Papyrus eForms in the first 30 days of release.

v2.3 — early April (counted in Q1 because it shipped near the boundary)

Knowledge Graph. Entities and relationships extracted across the corpus; new API; counterparty intelligence dashboard.

The smaller things

A non-exhaustive list of refinements that compounded:

  • Hybrid search now weights recency +12%
  • Welcome card on the authenticated dashboard linking to Resources
  • Smart Folder support for date-range filters
  • Bulk reclassification in the AI Classification Review queue
  • 17 new pre-built workflow templates
  • 12 new pre-built eForm templates
  • Mobile app cached document limit raised to 200 MB
  • Push notifications via VAPID for browser PWA, FCM for Android
  • Department-scoped folder roots
  • Tag chips clickable for cross-document filtering
  • New aiSignalsUsed field on search responses for transparency

What customers asked us about most

In Q1, our support queue and customer-success conversations clustered around:

  1. eTIMS edge cases — VAT inclusive vs exclusive, zero-rated items, line-item rounding. We shipped 4 separate eTIMS bug fixes and several edge-case clarifications.
  2. Mobile adoption — "how do I get field officers to use the app?". We published a playbook (linked in the changelog) and offered live workshops for high-volume customers.
  3. Migration patterns from SharePoint — the SharePoint migration guide was our most-viewed Resources article in March.
  4. AI accuracy on Swahili — addressed in How Papyrus Achieved 94% Classification Accuracy
  5. Pricing and plan limits — repriced the Starter and Business tiers in Q1; clearer plan-limit alerts in v2.3

What's coming in Q2

Headline items on the Q2 roadmap:

  • Copilot GA on Business+ (shipped in v2.4 — April)
  • Smart Workflows v2 with AI-suggested approvers (shipped in v2.4)
  • Workflow analytics improvements (in progress)
  • Better handwriting OCR (in progress)
  • Expanded SDK coverage (Go and Java SDKs in early access)

Closing

The pace is sustainable because the team is small and the decisions are clear. We will probably do a Q2 roundup at this scale; if the cadence increases, we'll do shorter, more frequent updates instead.

Thanks to the customers who told us what to build. Many of these features were directly requested.
