v2.4 — Copilot, Smart Workflows v2
The Papyrus Copilot is now generally available on Business+ plans. Smart Workflows v2 brings AI-powered approver routing and bottleneck detection.
v2.3 — Knowledge Graph
The Knowledge Graph layer extracts entities and relationships across the document corpus, exposing cross-document insights via a new API.
v2.2 — eForms 2.0
Rebuilt eForms designer with conditional logic, GPS capture, file uploads, and signature fields. Plus partner / reseller dashboard.
v2.1 — Mobile App Public Release
The Papyrus mobile app exits beta. Document scanning, offline operation, push notifications, and approval-on-the-go are all generally available.
v2.0 — Multi-Tenant Hardening, Passkeys
Major release: passkey authentication (WebAuthn), tenant-isolation hardening, encryption-at-rest improvements, and the new tenant catalog architecture.
v1.9 — Classification Review Queue
Low-confidence AI classifications now route to a human review queue. Bulk-correction tooling for tenant admins.
v1.8 — Contract Intelligence GA
Contract intelligence is generally available — clause extraction, obligation tracking, risk scoring, side-by-side comparison.
v1.7 — Desktop Upload Agent
Windows Desktop Upload Agent generally available. Watch any folder, auto-upload, auto-tag from sub-folder structure.
v1.6 — Semantic Search
Semantic search joins keyword search in a unified hybrid pipeline. Embeddings on every document, Qdrant Cloud as the vector store.
v1.5 — Workflow Designer
Visual drag-and-drop workflow designer. Configure approval chains, SLA, escalation paths without code.
v1.4 — KRA eTIMS Integration
Native KRA eTIMS submission for invoices issued in Papyrus. CU number and QR code embedded automatically.
v1.3 — Kenya DPA Toolkit
Purpose-built DPA compliance tooling — DSAR workflow, consent records, RoPA generation, breach notification.
