Highlights
Papyrus E-Board covers the whole board cycle — plan, assemble, publish, review, meet, decide and record — for boards, committees, subsidiaries, trustees and councils. Directors, including outside directors, get a confined board workspace in English, French or Kiswahili, on the web and in the Papyrus app.
Added
- Meetings and agendas — numbered meetings, structured agendas with purpose, presenter, timing, in-camera and restricted items, templates, recurring series, notices with calendar invitations, and quorum from the board's own rules.
- Papers and the annual work plan — paper requests with cover sheets, review and approval, late flags and reminders; a work plan that proposes business for each meeting.
- Board pack 2.0 — versioned packs compiled from approved papers, with contents, bookmarks and change logs; each director's own copy with withheld items, watermarked page images and read tracking.
- Secure reader — search, thumbnails, private and shared annotations, questions to presenters, a personal briefing and listen mode; download and print only when the board allows them.
- AI (on by default, per-board and per-paper opt-out; configurable endpoint) — paper summaries with page citations, pack briefs, Ask-the-pack, quality checks, routing, translation, minutes drafting, action extraction, conflict flags, agenda building and Ask-board-history.
- Resolutions and e-signature — in-meeting and written resolutions with deadlines, casting vote, recusal-aware eligibility, secret ballots, signing routes, certified extracts with QR verification.
- Live meetings — check-in attendance, live quorum, agenda timer, in camera, declarations, page sync with a pointer, motions and live votes, chat, running notes and recordings.
- Minutes and actions — minutes built from the record, chair review, circulation, adoption, signing and a hash-chained minute book; an action register with carry-forward and reminders; historical minute-book import.
- Director governance — terms, rotation, independence, skills and gaps, consented diversity reporting, CPD, induction packs, appointment letters; declarations, fit-and-proper, D&O, attestations and anonymous board, committee, chair and peer evaluations; a governance calendar with illustrative compliance sets.
- Offline reading and remote wipe — encrypted offline packs in the browser and the app, device registry, leases, and erase-on-contact for lost devices.
- Native board screens in the Papyrus app with fingerprint/face unlock and screenshot protection on Android.
- Governance reports — dashboard with medians, Excel/CSV registers, an annual governance report with CMA, CBK, SASRA and IRA column presets, Power BI datasets over API keys,
eboard.*webhooks, Copilot board tools and personal calendar feeds.

- Webhook subscriptions accept prefix wildcards such as
eboard.*. - Copilot never emails board records.
Security
- Director sessions can be revoked instantly; app tokens are session-backed with rotating refresh tokens.
- Signing out of the mobile app now ends the session on the server.
