• Papyrus Desktop Agent (Windows) — system tray app that watches a folder and auto-uploads documents
• Auto-tagging from path — sub-folder names become document tags automatically
• SQLite local queue — uploads queue locally and retry; resilient to network outages
• Heartbeat to server — agent health visible at /admin/agents
• Inno Setup installer — non-admin install, optional auto-start with Windows
• Agent management API — register, heartbeat, list-folders endpoints under /api/v1/agents

• Document upload pipeline — gains a “source” attribute distinguishing web / mobile / agent / email uploads

Notes

• macOS / Linux agent support is not on the immediate roadmap. The web upload and mobile app cover those platforms.
• For organisations on Windows Server, the agent can be installed once at the server and watch shared folders for the whole site.
