Can I pay by M-Pesa?

Yes — KES denomination via Safaricom Daraja STK Push for all Kenyan tenants. Monthly or annual cycles (20% annual discount).

Can I pay by card?

Yes — Stripe handles USD, EUR, GBP card payments for international tenants. KES card payments are routed via local processors.

Does Papyrus generate eTIMS-compliant invoices for me?

Yes (Business+). Outgoing invoices to your customers are automatically eTIMS-submitted with CU number and QR code via our EtimsService. For Papyrus's own invoices to you, eTIMS-compliance is included.

What if I go over my storage limit?

You get alerts at 80% and 95%. At 100%, new uploads are blocked. You can: (a) upgrade your plan, (b) buy storage overage (Business+; ~KES 250 per 10 GB-month), or (c) archive/delete documents.

Can I downgrade?

Yes, but the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll get a warning if your current usage exceeds the lower plan's limits.

Can I get a refund?

Monthly plans: prorated refund for unused days, less a small processing fee. Annual plans: prorated refund within the first 30 days, no refund after that (industry standard).

What happens if my payment fails?

Three retries over 7 days with email notification. After 7 days, the tenant is suspended (read-only) for 30 days, during which you can update payment. After 30 days without resolution, the tenant data is exported and deleted per our cancellation policy.

Is there a non-profit / education discount?

Yes. Registered NGOs and educational institutions get 30% off Starter and Business plans on application. Email accounts@papyrus.io.
