Personalising Your Dashboard
Customise what appears on your /dashboard view — stat cards, recent documents, pending approvals, AI activity.
Personalising Your Dashboard
The Dashboard at /dashboard is your home base when you sign into Papyrus. Some of it is fixed; some is yours to tune.
What you see by default
- Stat cards: Total Documents, Pending Approvals, AI Accuracy, Storage Used
- Recent Documents: your last 5 touched
- Pending Approvals: tasks waiting on you, sorted by SLA
- AI Activity: documents classified, metadata extracted, embeddings created
- Resources welcome card: dismissible once
What you can adjust
Tile preferences
Profile → Settings → Dashboard. Toggle which cards appear:
- Stat cards (4 selectable from a list of 8)
- Recent Documents (limit: 5 / 10 / 20)
- Pending Approvals (sort by: SLA / submission order / value)
- AI Activity
- Storage usage detail
Default folder
Set your default folder for the “Upload Document” button. New uploads from the Dashboard go there unless you change it during upload.
Default workflow
If you typically apply the same workflow to documents you upload, set it as your default. The workflow runs automatically on uploads from your default folder.
Notification preferences for dashboard
Dashboard notifications (the bell badge on the top bar) honour your notification preferences. Tune what counts as a “notification worth surfacing” under Profile → Settings → Notifications.
What you can't yet customise
- The widget layout (drag and drop position) — on the 2026 roadmap
- Adding custom widgets via the API — also on the roadmap
- The colour theme of the Dashboard (it follows your tenant's white-label config)
Pro tips
- Pin a Smart Folder to your Dashboard: any saved search can be pinned as a “card” with the result count visible at a glance
- Use the Copilot for status: instead of staring at cards, ask “what's pending my approval?” or “what's overdue today?”
- Mobile sync: your dashboard preferences sync to the mobile app, so the experience is consistent
